Tuck your thumb! |
- Always use a sharp knife.
- Keep the flat of the blade in contact with your guiding knuckles.
- Tuck your thumb behind your guide fingers.
- Use a comfortable grip that maintains control of the blade.
- Jazz hands always face out.
Even the best of the best will forget what they are doing once in a while (except Jacques Pépin, that guy NEVER cuts himself). Having a sharp blade will at least guarantee a clean cut that will heal more easily than a cut from a dull blade.
There is NOTHING more dangerous than dull knives!
So, a review:
(Sharps knives can be dangerous too... )
