The 4th Day of Christmas: A Great Cup of Coffee
I have always been a freak about great coffee and have tried nearly every method of brewing coffee known in search of that great cup at home. Technivorm's Moccamaster makes 10 great cups of coffee in under five minutes. Well, it makes 10 Euro standard cups giving my wife and I fewer than 10 giant mugs of coffee per brew but that's okay. The bottom line is that it makes an awesome pot of coffee every time. If you don't believe me read a guy from Wine Spectator's take on it or any one of these glowing reviews.
How does the Moccamaster do it? Well, it does it by getting the water to the ideal temperature range of 190-205 degrees Fahrenheit for the best solvent quality and then spraying the surface area of the grounds for properly timed extraction. It's a well thought out drip machine. And to make it even better it's pleasing to the eye with a clean, simple and elegant design with no clocks or whatnot.
It's not cheap, but if you have a true coffee lover in your life and the budget for it you should consider gifting a Technivorm machine to them. They will reap the benefits of easy and great coffee at home. You will be rewarded in great coffee at their home. Or just gift one to yourself. You deserve to start your day with a great cup of coffee.
P.S. Get a gold filter too.
