Vegetables are good. |
Wrapping up the end of winter means shelving our brussels sprouts and cabbage in lieu of the bounty of spring (did I hear someone say asparagus, ramps, morels, fiddle-head ferns, spring onions, baby garlic and sugar snaps?).
So let's have one last look at those winter vegetables - see you next November!
And, of course, everything is a wee bit better with bacon, don't you know?
And now that spring has sprung, a bouquet of flowers for all my dear readers!

Asparagus is a flower and should be stored like you would store flowers: in water. |
I did some tasty sesame sugar snaps the other night with ... foods to be named in an upcoming post.
